A fundraiser in a football club was a real winner for Lancashire war veteran Michael Clough.
Friends and family of the amputee ex-soldier, including military surgeon Col Steven Jeffrey who operated on him and Claire Stephens, founder of Woundcare4heroes, attended the evening event on Saturday February 3 at Ossett Town Association Football Club.

Based in Edinburg, they recently produced a mini-series of 3 programmes, specifically aimed at ex-military who are living with pain as a result of combat injury. It feature a series of clinical experts and former servicemen and women who are dealing with pain resulting from wounds and amputations. One of the programmes (they are all about half an hour long) deals specifically with rebuilding your life after the loss of limbs. [Read more]
