TOP TIPS FOR YOUR FUNDRAISING

Together we are making a difference

Get in touch

Whether you’re taking part in a mud run, knitting poppies or playing football, we’d love to hear from you. We may be able to help with materials, such as stickers and collecting tins. Contact enquiries@woundcare4heroes.org.uk

Gift Aid it and increase your donation

Gift Aid can increase the value of your donation at no added cost to you. If you are a UK tax payer, Woundcare4heroes can claim an extra 25p for every £1 you give from HM Revenue at no extra cost to you. Make sure to download our Gift Aid Declaration form. Alternatively, if you’re taking part in a sponsored event, tick the relevant box on your sponsorship form.

Spread the word

Tell your family and friends about your fundraising activity or event and why you want to support Woundcare4heroes. Send them links to our website, Facebook and Twitter pages and let them know about our work. Your passion and enthusiasm will rub off on them.

Investigate matched giving

Could your employer match what you raise, pound for pound? There are many companies that have matched giving schemes, so make sure you ask.

Keep it safe and legal

Be sure to follow our guidelines as it is your responsibility to be safe and legal at all times.

Media stars

Tweet about your event or activity, put photos on your Facebook account, tell your local newspaper, TV or radio station. Shout it from the rooftops and most of all let us know what you’re doing so we can help promote it too.

Thank you

Be sure to thank your supporters and keep them updated on how your fundraising is going. Woundcare4heroes depends on the support of kind supporters like you.
